Sydney, Australia

Established in 1788 as the first British Colony in Australia, Sydney is one of the busiest commercial hubs in the Asia-Pacific region with a cosmopolitan population, many historic sites, museums, parks, and beaches. Sydney is not only the oldest but also the most populous city in Australia with around 4.5million people, and the state capital of New South Wales. Sydney is known for its harbour lifestyle, fantastic beaches and good weather - all contributing to a relaxed environment that permeates the city and its visitors.

The city's dining options are numerous, and the restaurant scene also reflects the city's cultural diversity, with inspiration from the finest Asian, European and Middle Eastern cuisines, combined with the freshest Australian ingredients.

The many attractions including the famous opera house, the harbour that can be enjoyed from the top of the famous Harbour Bridge or from a boat on the water, the royal botanic gardens, Bondi beach, the Olympic Park, and the abundant shopping opportunities, make Sydney an attractive destination for visitors from all around the world.

Just west of Sydney lies the beautiful Blue Mountains, while to the north the Hunter Valley wine region beckons. Both regions are perfect for visitor day trips.
