Travel Information

Since December is a high season in Australia, we strongly recommend to reserve your flights and accommodation as early as possible.

Directions from airport to venue

If you travel to the conference by plane, then your final airport is Sydney's international Kingsford Smith Airport which is located only 10km away from the city centre, where the conference will take place. There are train stations, bus stops, and taxis located at both the International and Domestic Terminals.

Visa information

All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia (other than New Zealand passport holders who will normally be granted a Special Category visa on arrival). See http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/visa-finder to determine the right visa.

Participants from eligible countries may apply for an eVisitor visa (subclass 651) or an Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601).

Participants from non-eligible countries may obtain a Visitor visa (subclass 600). If you are being paid for your participation (e.g. paid speaker), you may need to obtain a Temporary Work (Short Stay Activity) visa (subclass 400).
