| Radwa El Shawi |
| Radwa El Shawi received her PhD degree from School of Information Technologies, University of Sydney, Australia. Radwa is a member of Sydney Algorithms and Computing Theory research group. Her supervisors are Dr. Joachim Gudmundsson and Prof. Albert Zomaya. She obtained her BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Engineering from, Arab Academy for Science and Technology and MaritimeTransport , Egypt in 2005 and 2008 respectively. Radwa research interests lie in studying networking applications employ geometric graphs. Her PhD work aims to provide means to efficiently compute the minimum cost path in differrant types of networks. More precisely the work focuses on investigating the problem of efficiently computing exact and approximate minimum cost paths in geometric graphs, with the main focus being on the query processing using techniques of geometric optimization. | |
