The Girls' Programming Network runs a new one-day workshop every school term.
It's a friendly, interactive atmosphere
where questions are more than welcome, with lots
of chatting and snacks!
2012 — Term 2 — Sunday 6th May
The GPN workshop for term 2 2012 will run on Sunday the 6th of May from 10am - 4pm.
We'll be looking at Python programming, and training your computer to do your homework. We'll go through programming concepts and constructs, and brush up on our Python-fu in time for the 2012 NCSS Challenge to be held in term 3.
We'll also be creating our own homework generators, training up a program to write English short stories and essays for us!
Meetings are in the undergraduate labs on level 1 of the School of IT at the University of Sydney.
If you can't make this workshop but would like to find out about future ones, let us know! Email us at gpn@it.usyd.edu.au or fill out this form.
